Full Moon

About a week ago there was full moon and way it lights everything is always pretty awesome so I thought I'd do some experimental shooting with the moon as my only light source. Here is the result. Pretty boring really but I learned a lot. I shot everything with 5-10 sec shutter and f/1.4

This surprised me because I guess I expected less color. In a full moon everything seems a bit colorless to the human eye... But after thinking about it... it really actually makes sense with along exposure. It actually brings out a lot of color and leaves very dark shadows which makes for great contrast.

Love the contrast it created in the trees

I really wanted to go back the next night and try to shoot some portraits but there were clouds. NEXT full moon ... I'm doing a portrait shoot at midnight ... Anyone want to model???

Okay so while I was uploading these I was playing with my camera and an old wide angle adapter I have... so I had to share this pic ;)
