Silver Dollar

So on the last night we were in Colorado I dragged Anna up to just under 12,000 ft to go hiking with me :) Haha jk.. She went willingly. We got to the trail head around 9 pm and hiked about an hour up to Silver Dollar Lake and stood up there freezing waiting for the moon to rise :) It was totally worth it though....

We thought the moon would never come up ......






And it finally came.

 
There were TONS of wild flowers up there.... The lighting on the flower was from my phone :) Thats the moon in the background.

SW Colorado

From the wedding we went up north through Ouray on our way to Georgetown. Made me realize how I much I miss living there. :)

Anna and I did a short hike up above Ouray.

After it cleared. If you ever go to to this area.. be sure to take hwy 62 up onto the Messa.. That's where the views are :)

The wedding

 The weekend after we came home from Cali, the whole fam went up to Durango, Co for my brothers wedding. Here are a few candid pics :)

Fires

Sooo we got home and within a couple days I had something new to shoot :) There was a huge fire a few miles from us! It was sad because it destroyed several houses and caused a lot of damage but it made for cool pics.

Lightning... there was a thunderstorm coming in right behind the fire.

 
The storm kinda blew the fire toward me.

California

I LOVE water! Its awesome to be in it and its really fun to take pictures of it. We went snorkeling at Shaws cove at Laguna Beach and here are some pics I took of the Ocean. Disney Land.... We went and watched the fireworks one night :)



Then the sad truth.... we had to go home. The people there are awesome and everything but we reeeeally didn't want to go home to 105 + ... but we did ... and we're still alive. I've decided that living in Oklahoma just makes other places seem THAT much more awesome and I'm really thankful for all the blessings that were handed to us throughout that 3 week trip :)
